Yak-18PM, 1965

This absolute winner of the Moscow 1966 World championship introduced a new era of power-based aerobatics. One of the Yakovlev's best aerobatic machines, it resulted from profound modification of Yak18P single-seater, with a fabric-covered tubular structure. The serial production at the Arseniev plant totalled 25 aircraft of which only one left is known. Exceptional bird!
